OUR SERVICES STANADARDS

Our service standards are as follows:

  • We shall prepare annual financial statements within 90 days after the closing of the financial year in accordance with the law
  • We shall prepare quarterly, semiannually and annual reports within 14 days after end of quarter
  • We shall disseminate information on interventions of the Ministry within seven (1) working days upon receipt of information; and
  • We shall avail Ministry’s statistics within three (3) working days

  • We shall approve application for establishment of Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) within seven (7) working days
  • We shall issue permit to renovate historic/preserved buildings within 21 working days; and

  • We shall issue license for photographic and walking safaris within three (3) working days; and

Tenders

We shall issue tender contract to winners within three (3) working days

Payments

We shall make payments within two days receipt of relevant documents

Correspondence

  • We will respond to letters within seven (7) working days
  • We shall respond to telephone calls promptly
  • We will respond to complaints within seven (7) working days
  • We will address complaints that require follow-up in various jurisdictions within 90 working days

CLIENTS’ RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This chapter sets out the rights and responsibilities of a client when accessing services provided by the Ministry

Clients Rights

A client has the right to:

  • Obtain services according to their needs
  • Access information related to themselves in accordance with existing procedures
  • Confidentiality in his or her personal affairs
  • Submit a complaint on services offered; and
  • Lodge an appeal at the highest level of the Ministry where he or she is dissatisfied with the service provided in accordance with accepted service quality standards

Clients Responsibilities

The client shall:

  • Provide information required to access required services
  • Attend appointments and scheduled meetings punctually
  • Follow the technical instructions given by the experts of the Ministry
  • Comply with laws, regulations, guidelines and procedures in accessing services; and
  • Maintain good relations with staff of the Ministry
